What can be measured with CASY? A list of A (Algae) to Y (Yeast)
Is CASY capable of measuring the cells you are interested in?
A small catalog now lists CASY setup files of various samples.
“Countless” – now that would clearly be the wrong term for a cell counter and analyzer, but there are definitely very very many cells and particles that were successfully measured by CASY.
Here, this catalog can be downloaded as a reference. It summarizes setup files of CASY TT and TTC, as far as they are known to us.
You have found an interesting setup file? What now?
The list contains the CASY setup files already used for measuring the corresponding samples. Thus, it's evident that this sample can actually be measured using the CASY. Additionally, you can receive the appropriate setup file as a “Reference” from us. However, the files should only serve for comparison, to set up your very specific setup file with your cells.
Creating a setup file is not difficult: A video explains it in great detail – Thus, this video only takes as long as 10 Minutes, you'll find it here ..

To request a setup file, simply send us the name of the file to email@example.com
We are happy to include your setup file in future versions of the list, please send them also to firstname.lastname@example.org.
